be short, be simple, be HUMAN

Societal is a boutique creative agency, our approach is shaped by our mantra: be short, be simple, be human.

Short, because attention spans are.

Simple, because the best ideas always are.

Human, because people want to be treated like people, not spoken to as ‘consumers’.

What sets our work apart:

There’s never been a better time to be creative, or a worse time.

Digitisation has made the production of communications cheaper and faster.

There are now multiple ways to create.

It has opened the business to a wider range of people and a wider range of ‘toys’ to creative our magic.

Time has shrunk. The ability to think on your feet and make instant decisions is now the norm. Deadlines are always ‘yesterday’.

And consumers (everyone says) have no time.

There are multiple channels - but where is the audience?

It’s being agile in response to these changes, working fast, responding to moving budgets and never shrinking from the challenges of the new that sets us apart .

Sunlight - unleash the untapped power of women throughout Asia

Over the past 3 years, Societal has worked alongside Unilever’s Sunlight brand to unleash the untapped power of women throughout Asia. To achieve this, we met, interviewed and filmed over 100 women from all walks of life. Each had their own story to tell—from the more conventional to the totally mould-breaking. But they all had one thing in common: a desire to live their dreams—whether that was to become an entrepreneur, help those less fortunate than themselves or to show the world that they could do what others told them they could not.

These are their stories.

LIVSPACE - MAKE CHOICES

Together with regional interior design experts, Livspace, we launched their brand into the crowded Singapore market. The campaign aims to build awareness for the brand and taps into classic movie tropes to bring an entertaining twist to issues that consumers face with interior design firms.
